Nordic Ski Club
HISTORY & MISSION
Our mission is to provide opportunities for skill improvement for cross-country skiers of all levels in a casual, friendly environment.
Founded in 1995 with the goal of developing, supporting and promoting Nordic skiing and related activities, Methow Valley Nordic Club (MVNC) offers opportunities primarily for adults in camps, clinics, classes, ski tours, citizen races, and off-snow social activities.
MVNC also helps young skiers develop a passion for and proficiency in Nordic skiing through participating in the Methow Valley Nordic Team. By providing ski team scholarships to juniors aged 6 to 18, MVNC helps foster a lifelong love of Nordic skiing from an early age. Together, the MVNC and the Team develop year-round activities designed to encourage camaraderie, teamwork, and fun.
Want to get involved with the local ski community? We need your help! If you’d like to offer your time and services to help produce a Nordic event (such as the Tour of the Methow or the Doggie Dash), please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you!
