Choose to ski 20, 30, 50, or 80K on this self-paced tour of some of the best trails of the Methow Valley.

The Tour of the Methow is held in honor of Lee Adams.  Lee loved the outdoors and was passionate about cross country skiing in the Methow Valley.  When he lost his life in a tragic accident on Mt. Rainier, his loved ones donated memorial funds to the Methow Valley Nordic Ski Educational Foundation.  Those funds have been used to place benches in the Early Winters area of the trail system, and to sponsor the Tour of the Methow.

Registration and more detailed information will be posted soon.

The full course goes from the Cub Creek trailhead over Rendezvous Pass, and down to Mazama (30k), then around the Early Winters part of the trail system and back to Mazama (20k), and finally from Mazama to Winthrop (30k).

Most participants choose only a portion of the 80k course.  No matter what part of the course you choose, you won’t want to miss lunch at the Mazama Community Club.  (lunch/snacks served from 10-1).

There are shuttle bus rides available to the first 100 registrants.  The bus runs from Mazama to Winthrop, then to the Cub Creek trailhead.  The bus also runs from the Methow Trails office to Mazama, and back, later in the morning.
