- The Methow Valley Nordic Board of Directors is a team of 9. Each Director may serve a maximum of two consecutive three-year terms. Meetings are generally held on the second Monday of each month in Winthrop. Board structure includes officers (President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary) and three subcommittees (Financial, Governance and Strategic). Subcommittees meet as needed and during weeks in-between the monthly Board meetings. All Directors are expected to serve on one subcommittee.
- The Board fulfills both advisory and functional roles. In addition to vision, values, goal setting and oversight, the Board is engaged in fundraising, marketing, and the general operations of Methow Valley Nordic. This is an exciting time of growth and change! We’re seeking board members who understand the positive impacts of being part of the Nordic skiing community and are motivated to share the Nordic love!
