We eliminate barriers to families and get more kids on skis. You can support two key components for accessible skiing through this year’s GiveBig: grooming trails at the school and transport to trailheads further afield.
You’ll provide grooming on eight kilometers of trails right outside the door of Methow Valley’s elementary, junior and senior high schools, giving 250+ kids the opportunity to learn, play, exercise and enjoy the outdoors each week.
For days when snow is not available at the school or events or practice take children further afield, MVN owns and operates two vans filled regularly after school for practice and on weekends for events, carting kids to explore their surroundings, provide a healthy outlet for young people in our community, and an opportunity for them to grown and develop through their involvement in sport.
