Small class sizes based on ability, from Beginners to Advanced.

Weekly Classes

We offer classes for a full range of abilities, from beginner to advanced, for MVN members. Class sizes are small, generally not more than eight, so you can get plenty of individual attention.

Each class meets once a week for eight weeks in January and February, except the fitness classes which start earlier and meet for twelve weeks. Half the classes are classic and half are skating, with the actual schedule determined week to week depending on snow conditions. Classes meet at a variety of trailheads around the valley.

Ability levels: Beginners can shuffle around, advanced skiers can move pretty fast, the others are in between. If you are unsure of your ability level please use your best judgement. We will be happy to help you change groups after classes begin if that seems appropriate.
