MVNSEF is excited to announce the hiring of Raleigh Goessling as Assistant Program Director and Biathlon Director. Originally from Minnesota, Raleigh recently completed a post-high school biathlon and ski career which included stints with Maine Winter Sports Center, The University of New Hampshire and Craftsbury (Vermont) Green Racing Project. Over that span he has represented the US at the IBU Cup, European Championships and Youth/Junior World Championships, qualified twice for the NCAA championships and been a five-time National champion in biathlon. Alongside his training and racing he has been coaching youth and junior skiers and biathletes. Through the hiring process our search committee was impressed with his clear and straightforward communication, and balanced understanding of youth development and coaching.
Raleigh will be moving to the Valley with his partner Bridget in the coming weeks. They are currently in the process of finding housing in the valley – ideally a one to two bedroom place that is dog friendly. Bridget is also searching for work. If you hear of housing or work, please reach out!
