For those of you younger athletes who are interested in starting to merge your wintertime passion for skiing into a summer activity, rollerskiing offers a means to practice technique and get some functional exercise in while waiting for snow! We use rollerskis through the summer with our training groups and camps and encourage U14+ athletes to give them a try.
This summer I am going to offer several different rollerskiing “demo days”: a controlled, no-experience-necessary chance to try them out and develop some comfort before seeking to use them for training. For more info, check out our Summer Programs page.
